The history of the Hotel Gioia starts three generations ago in 1961 …
… with my grandparents, Ida and Secondo and my parents, Giuseppina and Vincenzo. I am Cinzia, then I was 6 years old and the hotel was just a small inn, a little more than a large house. Everything revolved around a philosophy of life tied to the beach, its lights, its colors, its rhythms, its emotional messages in a local context and reassuring and relaxed human being, where the priorities were the kindness and good food. In 1983 my husband and Vincenzo we begin our adventure on your own, with our two children, aged 6 and Gianandrea Gianluca 4 years. 1990 is the year of a major restructuring and our third child was born Gianmarco …
… the year of the total demolition and the beginning of reconstruction of our new hotels. A challenging our decision, which required so much sacrifice, patience and dedication, however, it motivated by the same passion and enthusiasm for this work, which always during these years has been reciprocated by sincere loyalty from our guests, who want to revive emotions experienced by the sea, the brightness of the sky, the reflections of dawn, the sun burning high, the fiery sunsets that plunge into the water.
